Introduction to Ayurveda
This course will be rescheduled.
This course will be for those new to Ayurveda and serve as a refresher course for those familiar with the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda.
"While our inner nature is everything inside our skin, including the organs that make up the systems of our body, our outer nature is the body of the earth that contains air, water, and all the living and nonliving things on it, including the microorganisms of the ecosystem that we may not even be able to see with our bare eyes."
"Considering the fact that our inner body can't function without the support of our outer body, we need to preserve both sides- the nature inside and the nature outside our skin - with equal consideration."Janesh Vaidya, Ayurveda Practitioner and Teacher
This will be a time to retreat as well as learn or remember what our true nature is really about. There will be gentle breath, movement, and mindfulness practices introduced throughout the day, as well as, lecture time, Q & A.
Come early (9:30) for tea/coffee and chat with old friends and new. It will be a time to celebrate being together again in person.
Bring a mat, blanket, water, sunscreen, and light lunch. Chairs will be available onsite. Bring a pen, there will be handouts you may want to make notes on.
