Finding Balance in Uncertain Times
Every new season in our lives announces itself through difficulty, confusion or a sense of being up-rooted.
To navigate this season or change, we must find our inner resource, an anchor that we can use to maintain our connection to "self" while being fully present and available to what is happening NOW.
During this retreat we will explore ways to move forward in the midst of turmoil. Using breath work (pranayama),

We will discuss how to integrate what we already know into our practice of balancing the collective energy of this pandemic. It is not just us now, this is a global crisis that demands our attention and intention to create space for something new to emerge.
In this session we will be practicing breath for denial and depression; movement for anger and depression; mindfulness for bargaining and acceptance. You may recognize the five stages of grief which I've chosen to help us navigate this novel time in world history.

Dive deeper into your practice by learning to channel the "prana" (life force energy) that is available to us all 24/7. By using prana to strengthen and sustain us we are able to bring more confidence and stability into our lives.
This concept is not new, it is practiced in Martial Arts, QiGong and Tai Chi but you seldom hear about it in mainstream yoga practice. Master teachers such as
Angela Farmer and Rama Jyoti Vernon have been teaching this "Inner Yoga" practice for decades and, as a student of both for the past 15 years, have been charged to share with my students what I've learned.
I hope anyone with a desire to experience Yoga in this alternate dimension will join us.
This workshop is playful and practical but for experienced students with a foundational knowledge of Asana, Pranayam, and Meditation. Must also, have a consistent personal practice.
