Finding Balance in Uncertain Times
Life Lines to Inner Peace
Every new season in our lives announces itself through difficulty, confusion or a sense of being up-rooted.
To navigate this season or change, we must find our inner resource, an anchor that we can use to maintain our connection to "self" while being fully present and available to what is happening NOW. In Finding Balance, author
Nancy Sanks, offers a resource - through the practice of yoga - for those struggling with uncertainty and change.
This guide provides tools to create space around whatever it is you are facing and breathe new life and possibility into it. Using breath, movement, and mindfulness, she leads you to a path of physical, mental, and spiritual balance.
Exploring ways to move forward in the midst of turmoil and to help you find inner peace, Sanks makes thteachings of yoga available to anyone with a desire to embody lovingkindness and a healthy lifestyle.
I hope you will enjoy this short and to the point book that was designed as a companion to our Finding Balance in Uncertain Times workshop and retreat. Available at Balboa Press and on Amazon.
Inner Yoga
Dive deeper into your practice by learning to channel the "prana" (life force energy) that is available to us all 24/7. By using prana to strengthen and sustain us we are able to bring more confidence and stability into our lives.
This concept is not new, it is practiced in Martial Arts, QiGong and Tai Chi but you seldom hear about it in mainstream yoga practice. Master teachers such as
Angela Farmer and Rama Jyoti Vernon have been teaching this "Inner Yoga" practice for decades and, as a student of both for the past 20 years, I have been charged to share with my students what I've learned.
I hope anyone with a desire to experience Yoga in this alternate dimension will join us.
This workshop is playful and practical but for experienced students with a foundational knowledge of Asana, Pranayam, and Meditation. Must also, have a consistent personal practice.
